About
Eli Oates
This is my public notebook. I use it to publish research, write through ideas, study businesses and industries, and keep a record of my thinking over time. It reflects what I am learning, what I find important, and how I approach judgment.
I study Finance at McCombs and Economics at UT Austin, and I will be joining William Blair's Technology team as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Alongside that, I have pursued small entrepreneurial ventures that pushed me to think more seriously about execution, incentives, and how businesses actually work.
This site is where I publish company breakdowns, industry analyses, book notes, and short essays. Everything here reflects my personal research and views.
